Musician, performer, composer, student of life
Flemming Viðar Valmundsson (b. 1995) is a peruser of music, and an explorer of the medium of performative art.
Due to undefined inspiration he decided to pick up the accordion at 8 years old, and he hasn't let go of it since.
Using the sonic powers and the wingspan of the instrument, he strolls through the many and wide-ranging crevices of musical art, in whichever style or genre.
In the embrace of the accordion he has stepped onto the stages of international competitions, worked to solve the puzzles of the Scandinavian repertoire of classical accordion, performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, as well as lead theatrical ensembles, jazz groups and even ambitious experimental punk bands.

The Mission
The search for forever-expanding development is my driving motivator, be it my own or other's.
Using the medium and study of musical art I have managed to dig down into my own psyche and learn the truths of my being, and I have no intention of stopping my excursion on the road to maturity.
I seek to open my own eyes, as well as other's, to the wonders of life through the tools I have at hand, namely music and the accordion.
I wish to bring forth a stronger connection between people by breaking down barriers of prejudice and to bridge the gap between a niche and a public.
I want to help others to experience the nuanced subtleties and soul-shaking substances found within the spectral scope of extraordinary music.
