Solo Accordion
The accordion has been my companion throughout nearly all of my musical life, and our ways have never fully parted since we met. With my time spent on unlocking its full potential, so have I equally managed to seek my own potential, and that relationship keeps gravitating me towards the instrument. My biggest interest is seeking what I do not know and do not understand, challenging myself constantly to manage to decode a foreign musical language and to project my understanding of it to an audience.
I’ve brought the instrument into nearly all of my musical adventures, trekking through old-dance music, jazz/fusion, baroque, punk, docile impressionism and unapologetic post-modernism with the accordion as my tool.
Currently I am working on developing concert concepts and deepening my ties with the my repertoire.
